This Is The First Time I Will See An Igbo Talking Truth To Others – Ishola Ninuola
This is the first time I will see an Igbo talking truth to the others.
From the Jan 1966 coup to Odumegwu Ojukwu’s lack of wisdom in the 1967 war, with his escalating commencement of air attacks with a lone bomber on Lagos, Kaduna, Kano; his boastful empty, No force in black Africa can defeat Biafra”. His tactless invasion of the Mid-West and West, which turned the table on Biafra; his foolish thinking of trying to impose one unknown Col Banjo on the Yorubas of the West, and subsequent murder of same; his incompetent command of the Biafran troops in the theatre of war throughout, and not knowing when to tactically surrender; his naive international escapade in trying to supplant British neocolonial interest with that of France, as some ‘Sahelian Gendarmes’ are trying to supplant French neocolonials with Russian ones in the Sahel now.; Ojukwu abandonment of his people after he has roundly lost, and led his people into destruction; Ojukwu’s shameless return into the rudderless political embrace of the inept and thieving Nigerian conservative hue of politics that drove the nails into the coffins of Nigeria’s probable good future fortunes since 1978 date; Ojukwu’s lack of credible moral standing, and open carousing with women of easy virtues.
Into the sudden appearance of little known entities with no intellectual and strategic capital, like Ralph Uwazuruike, Simon Ekpa, Nnamdi Kanu, tragically now attempting to lead the Igbos into another destruction, with the continuing tragic propagation of the same coursed Biafra dirges: the complete lack of rudimentary diplomatic sense of the trio, which is replica of the Ojukwu years, and now tragically again herding the enterprising and cerebral Igbos, into the sheep pen of political irrelevance, locally and internationally, and turning the Igbos with all their potentials, into local and international gangsters, who are the ones first incarcerated and hanged in far away places like, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and so on.
And finally the urgent need for good meaning people in Nigeria, Africa and the world, to help give support to the likes of the speakers in this clip and other Igbos like him to help the Igbos turn around their misfortunes, and help the Igbos rescue themselves from themselves
