Enter the dragon, Africa Web TV presents its new website!

Africa Web TV

Africa Web TV

After weeks of work, Africa Web TV is completing the process of redesigning her website. The redesigning means that we had to take loads of issues into consideration. Apart from the fact that the old website became too slow, we needed to take care of a serious issue of direct or indirect impersonation.

The immediate thing you will notice with the new website (versus the old one) is its colour. We have chosen this in order to put the emphasis squarely on the videos which is our core business. Now you can decide to watch the videos directly from our website or on our Youtube channel.

On the right sidebar, we have ordered some of the highlights of Africa Web TV into categories for easy viewing for you. You need not scroll through all the pages to find a video. Whether it is “Enterprising Africans” or “Yvet” or even some “Short films & documentaries” just select a category that might interest you and voilà!

Most of the other parts of the website are more or less the same as the old one. In the coming weeks we will add an “Announcement” section to let you know whenever Africa Web TV has something to announce like job vacancies or call to participate in new and upcoming activities etc. Also there will be a new “African news” section where we hope to keep you informed about current African news and more.

We have completely restyled the blog and the gallery sections. Both have their own sub-domains now. The blogs are to be found at blog.africawebtv.nlwhile the photo gallery is to be found at gallery.africawebtv.nl. Both offer simple usage and interaction.

Anyone with an eagle eye would have noticed that our URL (web address) has changed too. The URL now says africawebtv.nl. This reflects the name of our organisation and also avoids (we hope) the confusion where some thought we were the same as some The Hague-based, African TV. NO WE ARE NOT!

We are Africa Web TV. We are an online based, Africa-themed TV organisation. Our body of work is there for all to see! We do this for Africa, Africans and everyone who is interested and connected with Africa. We are religion and politics neutral. We don’t see colour and we don’t care about sexual orientation. If you have a story to tell that will benefit Mother Africa and your (business) organisation, we will help you tell that story!
Africa Web TV might not be the loudest of the Dutch-based television organisation but we are proud of being the best in terms of quality. We have spent the better part of the last 2 years showing others that quality matters. We are not tribal, we are global. Africa is just the centre of that globe!

Happy viewing!
