Amma Asante, born in Ghana, is a member of the Dutch parliament. She is the first person of Ghanaian descent to sit in the parliament of The Kingdom of The Netherlands. It is right that this pioneer kicks off Africa Web TV’s new series “African Role Models”. Phay Mutepa met her at her office in the parliament for a short and inspiring interview.
