When you look at the images of Africa in the Western media, the impression you get is that of abject poverty, war and diseases. You would not be surprised, most of the images and facts about Africa are ones you have never been told!

Whereas, in the West it does not matter how much your house or property is worth on paper, it is always a house on mortgage. This means you are still paying a certain amount to your mortgage lender/bank every month. Those houses are bought on credit and in fact, your house belongs to your mortgage lender/bank! In majority African countries, if you own a house/property, it is yours, period! You already paid the full cash for it!
